What is the secret to anti aging in the face ?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

I am 24 but my mother has a lot of wrinkles on her face I want to know how to start early taking care of my face so I dont get them so bad I know that people say to put soy milk in the microwave warm it up and take a wash cloth and put it on your face. I also heard that certain fruits can help but I wonder if there is a way that I can make a cream or something I mean I know they have a lot of creams they sell but who knows which ones work and what ingredients to look for not to mention that I am broke as a joke lol. I can afford clinique sometimes from macys but for now Im just putting the yellow moisturizer that they have for now. Well anybody have natural remedies?

Could it be a bad sign when an eye cream causes a burning sensation when first applying it or is this normal?

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

I have posted questions like these on here before as I am trying out different facial products and my face seems to be somewhat sensitive to some ingredients in a lot of them. The latest product I am trying is Neutrogena Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse Eye Cream and when I first apply it, I feel a burning sensation, but it doesn’t last long and it doesn’t make my skin red or irritated looking. It just doesn’t seem like it should do this. Is there something better out there for people like me who have this problem? I am over 40 but have very good skin with no wrinkles or blemishes. I am intrigues by products that promise to keep your skin youthful looking but it’s ironic that these are usually the products that irritate my skin.

Does anyone know of a less expensive version of this cream?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

I’m in my early 20’s and I was reading an article in cosmopolitan magazine on how to stay looking young in your 40’s. They recommended using a night cream now to ensure long-lasting results. Here is the cream they suggested:

Chanel Ultra Correction Lift Lifting Firming Night Cream
(It’s made with Elemi PFA, which derms say keeps cells alive for an extended period of time so skin stays lifted longer, preventing wrinkles and sagging)

The only problem? It costs 5. Does anyone know of something similar with the same ingredient as this cream for a cheaper price?? Thanks!

What’s a way to put sunscreen on without it somehow getting in my eye?

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Okay, to help prevent more wrinkles, I have been using sunscreen. When I first started I got the spray kind. The good thing about it is the sunscreen disperses evenly. But when I used it, it would get in my eye.

Now I use the cream form. I don’t put it on my eyes, but somehow a bit ends up in my eyes anyway. It stings.

How can I put on sunscreen and spare my eyes the trouble? Any tips?

reducing wrinkles and sagging skin BEFORE it actually happens?

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

wrinkle cream and such reduces the appearance of wrinkles when you actually have them. What ingredients or supplements can I take to PREVENT them when I don’t even have them yet? Is there anything I can take to keep my collagen production healthy? Are there certain dietary supplements I can take? I also use sunscreen and take green tea and grapeseed extract

Help finding the perfect anti-aging cream for 24yr old?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

I know 24 may seem a little young, but I know prevention is the best method, and I want to post pone those wrinkles as long as I can!

I am not big on skincare (I have used dove my whole life and had pretty good results from it) so I don’t know where to begin when looking for a good anti-aging or wrinkle prevention cream. What are some good brands? What type of ingredients should I look for? Any key words? or any other advice you may have to offer in this category.

Thanks!

Wrinkle cream using Milk of Magnesia and Preparation H?

Monday, February 8th, 2010

I work in a physician’s office and a lady came in one day that had awesome skin. She wouldnt tell us her age but said she was in her 50’s but actually she looked like in her 30’s. She gave us her secret which was a mixture of Milk of Magnesia, Preparation H and something else that I cannot remember. The girl that wrote it down has went to work somewhere else and as I have just turned 32 I am starting to see some wrinkles around my mouth. I wanted to try this mixture but cant remember the 3rd ingredient. Does anyone else know by chance and can give me the recipe again???

Whats your fave anti-aging/anti-wrinkle cream?

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

I am only 23-but have VERY bad skin elasticity, SO I’ve started using an anti wrinkle eye cream. BUT today i saw a old woman that looked so much like a basset hound it scared me and I wanna take care of my whole face! SO now i wanna know what your fave products along these lines are? Also what kinds of ingredients seem to work best, esp in prevenion (since my face is fine so far…its just the skin on my body that has issues) and not necessarily to FIX wrinkles/sagging (since there isnt any). Thanks so much! I have so many medical problems-i appreciate a little help in this area from people who know since it takes me so long to research other medical stuff.

I am looking for modestly priced items-drug store brands would be awesome!
If you are good with creams-answer this one too?

At what age is good age to start using an anti-wrinkle cream?

What’s the ingredient in anti-wrinkle creams that starts with M?

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Supposedly it helps aging wrinkles but not sun damage wrinkles…. can’t remember what it is, but I had heard it before. I believe the ingredient starts with an M.
I don’t think it’s Melanin or melatonin…. Doesn’t sound right. That’s your skin pigment.
Melatonin may be an ingredient, but it’s not the one I’m trying to think of
