I have posted questions like these on here before as I am trying out different facial products and my face seems to be somewhat sensitive to some ingredients in a lot of them. The latest product I am trying is Neutrogena Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse Eye Cream and when I first apply it, I feel a burning sensation, but it doesn’t last long and it doesn’t make my skin red or irritated looking. It just doesn’t seem like it should do this. Is there something better out there for people like me who have this problem? I am over 40 but have very good skin with no wrinkles or blemishes. I am intrigues by products that promise to keep your skin youthful looking but it’s ironic that these are usually the products that irritate my skin.

Could it be a bad sign when an eye cream causes a burning sensation when first applying it or is this normal?
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010Can you overdose from beauty products?
Monday, February 22nd, 2010Lots of chemicals are absorbed thru the skin I heard. There was that 17-year-old girl who had excess methyl salicilate in her blood from using a topical cream called Bengay. She also used oral stuff that contained the chemical.
I wonder if using lots of beauty products could do the same thing. I’m currently using a Neutrogena anti-wrinkle cream with spf 15, an eye cream with similar ingredients, also a toner and a cream cleanser. I also wear foundation, powder and lip balm consistently. Then I also take birth control and iron pills. It seems like i’m accumulating chemicals in my body.
Does this concern make sense at all?

What are good brands or face and eye cream for wrinkles?
Saturday, February 6th, 2010Are there any key ingredients to look for? Any other products to recommend? Be detailed as possible. Also when applying eye cream you apply under and around the eye, not on the lid right? Ok so just what brands worked in your experience. What are some must have products. I am interested in eye creams and also a night cream

Whats your fave anti-aging/anti-wrinkle cream?
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010I am only 23-but have VERY bad skin elasticity, SO I’ve started using an anti wrinkle eye cream. BUT today i saw a old woman that looked so much like a basset hound it scared me and I wanna take care of my whole face! SO now i wanna know what your fave products along these lines are? Also what kinds of ingredients seem to work best, esp in prevenion (since my face is fine so far…its just the skin on my body that has issues) and not necessarily to FIX wrinkles/sagging (since there isnt any). Thanks so much! I have so many medical problems-i appreciate a little help in this area from people who know since it takes me so long to research other medical stuff.
I am looking for modestly priced items-drug store brands would be awesome!
If you are good with creams-answer this one too?

What is the best anti-wrinkle face cream?
Monday, January 11th, 2010My mom is 53 and has oily/combo skin with wrinkles. For Christmas she wants me to buy her some stuff to make her look younger!
I want to buy her a cleanser, a peel or microdermabrasion, a night cream and an eye cream.
I have narrowed the brands down to Roc, Neutrogena, and Oil of Olay. They all get good reviews on Amazon.
Of these 3, which have you found to really improve skin texture and shrink wrinkles?
