Home Remedies For Curing Acne – Five Beginners Tips To Clearer Skin

Tip 1:  Wash Your Skin with a Glycerin or Sorbitol Based Product.

Most soaps and washes strip all oil from the skin leaving it over-dry and aggravated. Glycerin or sorbitol based soaps don’t do this.  Plus they balance skin pH which deters the growth of bacteria.

Tip 2: Regular Exfoliation

Besides washing, toning and moisturizing, you need to also exfoliate your skin.  Exfoliation takes away the buildup of dry skin on the skin surface that blocks pores, causes breakouts, and promotes wrinkling. Here is what to use:

Alpha and beta hydroxy acids. These are the mildest type of fruit acids used to form a peeling of the skin.
Dermabrasion.   This process is very similar to a sanding of the skin – and takes away the outer layers.
Peels.   A correct peel strips the skin’s outer layers, uncovering the freshy new skin beneath.  The best is the Glycolic Acid Peel – a concentrated version of the alpha hydroxyl fruit acid in a peel form.  Unlike other peels it’s made from natural acne remedies, is gentle, and wont burn or damage.  You will see obvious improvement within three treatments without the danger of scarring or infection.   It is also amazing for removing old acne scars and reducing wrinkles.

Tip 3: Cut the Sugars

Eating right is a great home remedy for acne!  Fast food, particularly sugar, feeds acne.

Within just minutes of downing a high-sugar fix like cola your acne can flare up.  So if you want clear skin, avoid fast foods and eat healthy food.

Tip 4: Boost Your Vitamin C and Water Intake

To function, build and heal itself properly your skin needs Vitamin C.   Don’t just pop it in a pill – eat Vitamin C rich foods such as broccoli, spinach and citrus fruits.

Drink eight to ten glasses of water a day to flush your body of toxic wastes and keep you skin soft and flexible.

Tip 5: Use Sunblock to Shield Skin from the Elements

Acne often flares up in response to skin damage by sun or wind.  Guard your skin with a good sunblock.  If your skin is an oily or combination type go for an oil-free sunblock.  Skin normal or dry?  Then use a moisturizer containing sunblock.  Non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog the pores) Neutrogena products are recommended.
