What is the best sunscreen for using everyday?

I don’t want it to have that distinct sunscreen smell and I don’t want it to be greasy.

I have two choices that I usually offer or talk to my clients about.

My first recommendation is for a product called SunStop by ActiFirm and these are a few of the reasons I really reccomend it so much:

This elegant, non-greasy formula provides superior UVA/UVB broad spectrum protection using our patented micronized Zinc Oxide (Z-Clear)

PABA free
Paraben free
Fragrance free
Antioxidant protection
Water resistant
Transparent application
Excellent under makeup
Excellent for application following in-office procedures

Here is a link for SunStop: http://www.skinstore.com/store/product.asp?catID=4805&prodID=4822

The second choice which is almost as good, lots cheaper but just as effective in protecting the skin from the sun is PURPOSE® Redness Reducing Moisturizer with SPF 30. They also make an SPF 15 but I do not recommend my clients wear less than 30. I do, however, think that Purpose needs to be re-applied more often than the SunStop and the major thing to remember is that it’s not water resistant.

You can find both PURPOSE products here: http://www.purposeskincare.com/productGuide.shtml

The Purpose sells for around $13 and the SunStop for $38 but they BOTH protect from UVA and UVB rays.
