Tanning around noon is a bad time to tan, ESPECIALLY without sunscreen. The sun is the strongest around 10-4 which is basically all day if your at the beach! Sunscreen doesn’t block ALL UVA and UVB rays, so you could lay out and maybe get a little tan. I want to be a dermatologist but i love to look tan, which i really am. But i know what the sun does to the skin, and later in life it is not very pretty. The Sun is what causes Skin Cancer which you probably already know, and too much of it can kill us. But the sun also provides Vitamin D for us. So what alot of dermatologist suggest is a tanning lotion that you just apply to your skin for a nice healthy glow. Also, getting burnt, then tan, is not healthy for your skin because the burn will wear down your epidermis and dermis[layers of your skin] which may cause skin cancer.

Well thats alootta info. hope it helps=] good luck!
